In my first year at university in Introduction to Design we learnt how to create detail drawings in AutoCAD. The detail drawings were created in 3rd angle projection to BS8888. We were set the task in pairs to create a launcher and a glider and create detail drawings of them. I was assigned to the glider. Research into the theories behind fluid dynamics and weight distribution were used to create the glider and optimise flight. We were also assigned an individual part to design using AutoCAD in which mine was a bracket.
