At the start of my second year in Computer Aided Design we had to purchase an existing plug. This was then reverse engineered using computer aided design. The product was also evaluated and then developed further to make it easier for the elderly or infirm to use. PTC Creo was used to recreate the product and then to develop it further. Finite element analysis was also used on the developed ideas and the initial product to see how much strain and displacement would effect the products.
